Connect Claude and ChatGPT

Generate USD assets and environments from your AI app through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Connect your AI app

simgenerator connects to Claude, ChatGPT and other compatible AI apps through MCP. The app can check your balance, start a job and retrieve its package. Every job also appears in My generations.

MCP server URL
https://mcp.simgenerator.com/mcp
  1. Add simgenerator

Find simgenerator in your AI app’s connector or app directory. If it is not listed in yours yet, add a custom connector using the server URL above. ChatGPT accepts custom connectors in developer mode.

  2. Choose your organisation

Connecting opens simgenerator. Sign in, choose the organisation the app may act for, and select Allow. The app works only in that organisation and spends only its credits.

  3. Describe what you need

Describe the object or space, and add a public image link if you have a reference photo. Asset generation costs 200 credits. For an environment, review the planned assets and build price before approving it in the chat.

  4. Retrieve your package

A job takes 30 minutes to 2 hours. Ask for its status at any time. When it is done, the app gives you a download link to the USD package. The link expires after a few minutes, so ask again for a fresh one.

What you can do

Balance and prices
Check your organisation, its credit balance and current generation prices.
Generate
Start an asset or an environment from a description, optionally from a reference photo. Repeating the same request within 10 minutes returns the same job instead of charging again.
Jobs
Read status, stages and credits for a job. Search and filter earlier jobs.
Plans
Review a paused job’s planned assets and price, choose which to build, and approve. The app passes the total you agreed to; the request is refused without charge if the price has changed.
Cancel and download
Stop a job, with automatic refunds for what was not used, or retrieve a finished package.

Example prompts

Start with a balance check, then describe the object or environment you want to create.

  • What does a simgenerator asset cost, and how many credits does my team have?
  • Generate a sim-ready kitchen cabinet, about 90 cm wide, with two hinged doors and a drawer.
  • Build a warehouse aisle with steel racks, plastic totes and a pallet jack.
  • Show me the plan for my warehouse environment and what it will cost.
  • Is my cabinet ready? If it is, give me the download link.

Access and disconnecting

The app sees what the tools return: your organisation’s name, balance, prices and jobs. simgenerator receives only what you ask the app to send, never your conversation. See the privacy policy.

To disconnect, remove simgenerator in the app’s settings or revoke its key on the API keys page. The key is named after the app and organisation, such as “Claude connector · Acme Team”. Revoking it ends the connection within a minute.

Developer tools

Claude Code, Cursor and other tools that support MCP can connect too. Create a key on the API keys page and send it as a bearer token. Keep your key private. Developer tools that support sign-in can also connect without a key.

Claude Code with an API key
claude mcp add --transport http simgenerator https://mcp.simgenerator.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your key>"

For a direct integration from your own scripts, use the generation API guide.
