A closer look at your asset.

Profile requirements, asset properties, and findings in one report.

Everything you need to check an asset.

Choose your profile

Select the SimReady profile and version for the asset you are preparing.

See the specific finding

Review the requirement tree and inspect the checks that need attention.

Take the report with you

Download the report to review findings with the people authoring your asset.

From file to next step.

Keep the workflow focused on the asset you are preparing.

  1. Load your asset

Choose a USD file, USDZ, ZIP, or the complete asset folder. Include referenced layers and textures.

  2. Select a profile

Choose the profile and version. Review the thumbnail and available validation settings.

  3. Run and review

Run validation, inspect the requirement-level findings, and save your report.

Before you start.

What to bring, what your browser needs, and what to expect.

Bring the complete asset.

USD, USDA, USDC, USDZ, ZIP, or an asset folder. Keep referenced layers and textures in their original folder structure.

Work in your browser.

Local files are read and processed on your device. Use a current desktop browser with WebGL2 and WebAssembly. Allow a moment for the runtime to load on your first visit.

Understand what the report covers.

The validator checks supported requirements from NVIDIA SimReady Foundation. Coverage varies by profile: checks without an implementation are marked as unchecked, and checks with no applicable content are identified separately. A validation report does not replace testing the asset in your target simulator.

A few useful answers.

Common questions about SimReady Validator.

What is a SimReady asset validator?

A SimReady asset validator checks the structure and properties of an asset against the requirements of a selected SimReady profile. This tool presents the findings by requirement so you can see what was checked and what needs attention.

Which file formats can I open?

Open USD, USDA, USDC, USDZ, and ZIP files, or select an asset folder. If a USD layer references other files, include those layers and textures while preserving their relative folder structure.

Does a passing report mean an asset will work in every simulator?

No. The report describes checks for the selected profile and version. Runtime behavior also depends on the simulator, its supported features, and your task. Use Sim on Web to inspect supported physics behavior, then test in your target simulation stack.

Do I need credits or an account?

No. Validation and report downloads are free, with no account required. The validation runs in your browser on the files you select.
