Cookies and browser storage can remember your choices and support features across visits. Tracking scripts can also send information about site and product use to the services described below.
Your choices
Essential storage supports sign-in, security and your privacy choices. You can control analytics and product improvement, advertising, and session recordings separately. Turning off optional tracking does not prevent you from using your account, generating content or downloading items.
In recognised US states, including California, analytics, product analytics and advertising may run unless you opt out. In Australia and New Zealand, analytics and product analytics may run unless you opt out, while advertising requires your permission. Saved refusals continue to apply, and Global Privacy Control keeps advertising off. Open Privacy choices to change these settings. Got it dismisses the notice without recording consent or changing your settings.
In other locations, or when we cannot establish the country or US state, optional tracking stays off until you allow it. Session recordings always require your permission, regardless of location. We use coarse country and state information to apply these settings.
What the controls cover
Essential
Supports authentication, security, service workflows and remembering your privacy choices. These functions remain available when you reject optional tracking.
Analytics and product improvement
Google Analytics measures page visits and usage. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights help measure usage and performance. Userpilot helps us understand feature usage and offer in-app guidance to signed-in users, associating activity with account, profile and organisation details. The combined control covers these analytics services. Any previously saved separate website and product analytics choices stay unchanged until you change that control.
Advertising
Configured advertising tags, including Google Ads and Meta, help measure campaigns and show relevant ads on other sites. HubSpot website tracking supports marketing measurement. Turning Advertising off disables these optional tags and remarketing. Google Tag Manager manages delivery of configured tags.
Session recordings
With your permission, Hotjar can record clicks, scrolling and navigation on selected public information pages while you are signed out. The homepage, library, digital-twin, pricing, sign-in, generation, account and payment screens are excluded. Recording is available only in browsers where we can keep it separate from private screens and URLs. Moving into a private flow opens a fresh page without the recorder.
Tag management does not replace your choices. Submitting a form, booking a meeting or completing a payment still sends the information needed to fulfil that request, even when optional tracking is off.
How we remember your choices
The sg_browser_consent cookie remembers the purposes you select in this browser, the notice version and the time of your choice for up to 365 days. Signing in or out does not reset that choice. The separate sg_consent cookie supports account preference syncing and may include an account reference. We may ask again if it expires, you clear browser storage, or the notice version changes.
When you are signed in, we also sync preferences with your account. A browser refusal, account opt-out or Global Privacy Control restriction continues to apply. If a connection fails, your choice still applies in the current browser and account sync is retried. Browser storage may temporarily hold a pending choice until it is synced.
We remember dismissal of the regional notice separately from consent. Dismissal does not turn on additional tracking or override a saved preference.
This preference period is separate from the retention periods used by individual providers. Provider notices describe their own cookie and data retention practices.
Changing your preferences
Open Privacy choices from the footer or your account menu at any time. The footer also includes Do not sell or share my personal information, which opens the same controls so you can turn Advertising off and save your choice. Turning off a purpose stops future optional browser tracking for that purpose and removes known associated browser storage where possible. The page may refresh to apply the change.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off. Changing a cookie preference does not itself delete data already received by a provider.
Privacy information
Read the simgenerator privacy policy for how we handle account information, generation inputs, payments and privacy requests.
